Lost power here in Sutallee around 4:30am yesterday. The chatter is that Amicalola EMC is saying Sunday evening best case for restoration. Glad to have a generator and plenty of gas.
We've been going down there for years. Stayed in a house just up from your pics twice, but moved over to the Cape because the water is so much nicer. Indian Pass muddies it up really bad.
Food is tough down there now after the hurricane. Losing Killer's was huge. They'll never replace the vibe...
No, like I said, people who are out of a job and can't pay their mortgage... will not be the ones who are still holding a job and getting paid.
The economy has the potential to crash hard and the trickle down will result in many lost jobs. At that point the people who only sitting on a little...
I would bet the folks who are refusing to voluntarily self isolate because they "aren't going to be scared by the media panic" will be the same ones crying in six or twelve months when the virus still isn't under control and they are out of work facing a foreclosure on their house.
I don't get the HOA hate, but I've never lived in one of the big neighborhoods with the outside management company handing the HOA stuff.
My neighborhood is 50 homes, and the HOA handles keeping the entrance and common areas landscaped and all, as well as enforcing the covenants. Essentially...
Is there no clause in your Bylaws and Covenants that states all lot owners fall under the covenant restrictions as part of ownership? Ours do. We have two or three non-built lots and even those owners have to pay annual dues and fall under the same restrictions.
I know you said no trades but I have a Winchester 1300 that I custom spray painted for turkey hunting and can throw in $5k on top of that. Let me know if interested......
I carry loans on two cars, one student loan, and a mortgage. I have cash to pay off everything but the mortgage and still have about 10 months of expenses in savings. I'm seriously considering doing that, but releasing that much liquid cash makes me nervous these days.
I think the standard "going rate" for the run of the mill private American adoption agency is around $40k.
That is not for a healthy, white, problem-free baby because those do not exist in the adoption world. I remember being told by one agency "Fetal Alcohol babies really are tough, but Meth...
I have a couple Streamlight Microstreams and they're great, but I got a Streamlight ProTac 1AAA a year ago and have carried it daily since. It's barely bigger than the Microstream but much brighter and has the "10 Tap" programmable button (bright, dim, strobe). $27 on Amazon...
So the $150+ Mosin sales are illegal? And the $450 SKSs? $800 WASRs?
I wonder if that's what the deal is with the $700 Glocks that come with a $45 holster. The seller can tell the ATF he's taking a 5% loss on the Glock, but making 300% profit on the holster, which is legal.
Yeah I would definitely like to hear from those here who got busted by the ATF for making a profit on a private sale.
If that's true eventually all guns here will be forced to depreciate to zero as they change hands.
I eagerly await the Glocks that have been sold enough times here to be...
