Fishing in lake Jackson with my friend "Bugger" when I was about 15,we were hold up in a cove when a boat with a skier came by and thought it would be funny for the guy on the ski to come close and spray us,I had a bass plug on and when they made the second run I thru that plug over the ski rope...
I fished there all the time when I got old enough to drive and caught a dump truck full of fish most nights, sure was nice having those heaters fishing in the winter,we used to tie up to bridge pier's hang a Coleman light on a pole over the side and crappy fish all night when the weather was nice.
Have had good luck at Rock Creek and Rock Creek Lake,Toccoa river both above the dam (some areas have delay harvest) and below the dam,Coopers Creek, also Horseshoe bend park is good for a few rainbows. You live in a great area for trout fishing close by!
