I fish off a bank just east of where highway 9 crosses the Hooch. I think its still called highway 9 there, just south of dow town roswell at the bottom of the steep hill with the suicide lane.
Turn east at the bottom of the hill and look immediately right, theres a small dock on an inlet...
Definitely, good info man thanks. If the group GORP doesnt cover the activities, just access, I think we will stick with day passes this year for the fam.
Ahhh OK thats what I was afraid of, it would still cover her fishing req though right? Or would I still need to get her an annual fishing license?
I hate this licensing crap, so much hassle.

On this upcoming trip I want to try a bit of surf casting using a double drop rig and live bait, but mostly I will be fishing for bass and trout or whatever else wherever I might be hiking. Probably more rivers and streams than lakes.
Im taking a trip to Cumberland Island in a month or so and want to pick up a fishing setup for backpacking that I can take with me. I am somewhere between an ultralight and distance backpacker, usually carrying around 20-25lbs in a 45 liter pack. What Im looking for is a fishing rig I can use...
