I owned a Bear that came with a 5 pin on it and I shot it fine. I just naturally shoot better with a single pin. Im a firm believer that if it ain't broke don't fix it. I still use an old pendulum. Don't even remember the make or model. It just works for me. I use a 30 yd zero and holding over/under isnt a big deal for typical bow hunting ranges for me (inside of 50 yards) Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk -

Crappy picture of the Barnett Jackal getting it done on a little 5 pointer a few seasons ago. This was the 30 yard shot mentioned above. You can see how wide this thing is, no thats not a fawn with horns glued on... -

I've used the Barnett Jackal. It got the job done. Shoots straight (can keep it in a 4" circle at 50 yards, might be more accurate than that but I dont shoot at my arrows stuck in the target so I dont see real "groups"), not to noisy and had enough power (right at 300 fps advertised). Depends greatly on your price range. I had the chance to hunt with a Barnett Jackal this year and I was happy with it. With Carbon Express bolts and Swhacker broadheads it would shoot inside a 4" ring out to 50 yards. Shot a young 5 pointer at 30 yards and got a complete pass through. The 150... -

My bow came with a QAD drop away and i'm happy with it,but if buying new I would most likely go with a Biscuit or Hostage just for the simplicity of it. If it ever fails, even in the backyard its coming off. -
