    I agree with all of the above. Yes, you do need to shoot the firearm after you bore sight it however you are comfortable and confident with. I did leave out “not”in my post above. Why would you not shoot it after bore sighting the firearm.

    What would be the point of bore sighting and re-zeroing your scope if you are going to shoot the rifle.

    Good information from above. I would like to add, if it’s a used scope, you might have to re-zero the scope itself. I have run out of adjustment and re- zeroed used scopes. Usually for me, it’s elevation. Rarely windage.
