    My ar-10 did that too when I first got it finished. I put mine up for a couple of days with the bolt locked open and next time I took it out it ran fine. I figured that new buffer spring was too strong and needed to be whipped into shape.

    I had a problem with my AR 10 not ejecting the spent round and trying to ram a loaded round in on top of it. I locked the bolt open with the spring compressed and left it in the safe for about 2 weeks. Took it out of the safe greased the bolt and oiled it up good and ..... Ta da....... No more...

    True, but boy that screw in pin sure is nice if you ever decide to change to enhanced bolt catch later on. Lol

    Been there,done that. I drove it out from the frontside. Get some frog tape and cover the lower with a layer or 2 where the punch won't scrape it up and knock it out backwards. After my experience with a bent pin I now put screw in in my bolt catch pins in all my builds......

    Acetone is used to clean up cerakote tools when it is still wet but I don't think it has any effect on cerakote after it has been cured

    Cerakote is a name brand and they are the only source for cerakote(that I know of) unless you go through a middle man ,which I don't know why you would.
