Why not just leave it as it is and shoot the heck out of it. Any older Express will have the metal trigger guard assy, old style magazine tube that will allow extended mag tubes to be screwed on easily and in general be an excellent shotgun.
If you want to turn it into something more home...

To chime in on what has already been said. I too find that these sights with that gap are unacceptable. Can't tell if its a manufacturing issue or installation problem.
But I find Truglo's response very telling in that they saw the picture and say the gap is within their specs.

Glock Smyrna will not do a "trigger job". They will only install fatory parts. No polishing connectors or anything else like that. There is a lot of info on the Glocktalk forums about "25 cent" trigger jobs if you want to do it yourself. There's also videos posted on Youtube about the same...
Glock will service your guns well after one year of purchase (if that's what their "official"" warantee policy is).
I've taken many Glocks by the Smyrna office for service or other things. There is no charge for them to install any factory parts. They will not install any aftermarket parts...
