    Not too sure of their pricing, but Whisle Pig does have some of the best looking barrels I have ever seen on ANY Rifle/Pistol. I too one day wish to build a custom 10/22. And if I was forced to choose (funds withstanding decision) I do believe that would be who I would choose. Good luck...
  10. What's the least noxious way to clean the cosmolene off a Mosin?

    I actually saw my father do this. Worked like a charm. Wrap it in newspaper "before" you put it in the bag and sit it in the sun. The newspaper will help suck out the oil once it starts to run!!

    Try Midway. There is one place up here in Marietta called Deercreek. It's just one of those small family gunsmith places that when you walk in, it's like walking into someone's storage room. Give him a call. If anyone around here has something for those old rifles, he will.
