Anxiously waiting for Colley to call to come pick it up!
I will definately post the results once I get it back and run some rounds through it...
If everything goes well, I am wanting to get it bobtailed!
Fingers crossed! :)
Parts are in and I dropped it off to Colley Jackson yesterday to install everything and go over the whole gun..
Now it is a waiting game for me.. Its gonna drive me nuts until I get that phone call to pick it up..
That would be nice, but I don't wanna dump this onto someone with the problems it has..
After getting it fixed, I may look at getting a colt, or springer...
Maybe I will dump it at GONe!
J/K. :)
Yeah I tried Wilson mags as well.. same issue.. The Kimber mags were hard to get the first round into them, so I threw them aside..
Like I said before, when the Kimber fires, it is a good shooter.. I just hate I have to put money into a high dollar pistol just to get it to perform like it should...

Of course the $1285.00 is MSRP,but if your gonna have balls enough to put a price tag like that it should function flawlessly.
Especially, when I have a cheaper Taurus PT1911 that will eat anything put through it...
As for the...
You in the market for a Kimberly? :)
I would not put this back up until the problems are resolved!
Or I would at least list the issues I had with it!
Wish someone else would have been that considerate!
I ordered a new ejector, extractor, sear and disconnector from Wilson combat.. Hopefully this will resolve my issue!?!?..
I have read where the Kimber mags suck, but I used a Wilson combat and still had the feeding issues..
For a $1200.00 msrp from Kimber, this is f***in bulls**t...
I now have...
Yup, had that happen several times...
Hopefully I can get it resolved.. I do like the feel and I shoot pretty good with it when I can get one to load..
Got this in a trade and finally was able to take it out today and run 100 rounds through it..
Out of the 100 rounds I had 4 FTE and 5 failure to load in the chamber..
Off to the gunsmith it goes!
I ran 100 rounds through my Taurus PT1911 and did not have 1 single issue! Just saying :)
