I HATE that they've closed up Shop--I recently had Shannon "Tune Up" a Snubby Model 64 & a Model 640; Both are much-improved. Last time I talked with him, he was planning to go back to Knoxville & work at Wood Bros Sporting Arms & Repair--They're as close as your closest UPS or FedEx location...
John is WORLD CLASS--Unfortunately, I don't think he's taking in any new work these days...
I would suggest Braxton1 @ Camp Creek Gunworks in College Park or Bob Sims in Fairburn...
As always, I use & recommend James @Hiland Arms in Thomaston--He does the best Cerakote work I've ever seen, and I've seen a bunch--He is in the process of relocating his Shop, but I anticipate he'll be able to take in new work by the end of September--HTH
I've said this before & I'll say it again: I've seen a LOT of Cerakote in my time, and without a doubt James @Hiland Arms does the best work I've ever seen--Puts some OEM jobs to shame--Honorable mention to Frank who was at Dobbs Defense for a while--That's MY $.02 worth...
Your CONFIDENCE is admirable, but you might wanna' get some PAYING CUSTOMERS to give you a Testimonial or two--Also, you might wanna' learn how to SPELL ''Cerakote"--- :) --And for my money, James @Hiland Arms aka "Fatal_Bert" does the best CERAKOTE work I've ever seen--YMMV, of course...
Florida Power & Light probably STILL HAS a Bounty on my ass for one PARTICULAR crow I kilt on one of their power lines 45 or so years ago in rural NW Dade County...120 yard shot with a Winchester 670 in .30-06 & a 4x Weaver Marksman Scope...Crosshairs subtended a little more than the whole...
^^^This & the 25 cent Trigger Job are about all you can do yourself to your Glock Trigger & stay legal for Am. Civ. Class--That, or buy one of Charlie Vanek's GSSF-legal Trigger Kits--His work results in about as good a Trigger Pull as you can get with all stock Glock components...
Before you trash it, part it out or put in a Shadow Box on the wall, check with Shannon Jennings at Arrowhead Pawn--He's fixed a coupla' "Basket Case" Colt D-Frames for me that are still running just fine--Whatta' ya' got ta' lose???
I've seen a LOT of Cerakote in my time, and without a doubt James @Hiland Arms does the best work I've ever seen--Puts some OEM jobs to shame--Honorable mention to Frank @ Dobbs Defense--That's MY $.02 worth...
