  1. Attention Magpul fans...

I agree with all of what you said here. I have a sh*t load of Magpul stuff and some of it was like a deal and other felt like a splurge. It's all good stuff, though, but just higher than other brands. I went with the UTG AR fixed rifle stock (also clean and uncluttered looking) instead of the...
  2. Attention Magpul fans...

I'm sure it will be 3x more expensive than it should be... like their bipods and other things they sell.
  3. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Just to report my first comprehensive tear-down and inspection / cleaning of my SW22 that I bought over a year ago. I've shot it a LOT over the past 14 months and probably have 10 - 15,000 rounds through it. What an amazing piece of equipment. Aside from having some blackening of the...

Well, you do have a valid point. My standards are a little bit skewed! LOL!
  6. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

I got a new screw and Allen wrench from S&W but it didn't have any red thread lock on it. I've got probably 20-30,000 rounds through mine and have never had it loosen on its own. Still shoots like a dream, especially with all the add-ons!
  7. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Transformation of my SW22 is complete. Dayum... What a shooter!

Stage 3: Knock all five pin tops OFF the table. This table is 3 feet wide. Once you get them off the table, hit the white plate and then the red stop plate (which rotates). Clock stops when the red plate hits the dirt!

Stage 2: Hit the two silhouette targets on the table and knock them down. Then shoot the duck, which releases a golf ball down the rail. 3 second BONUS if you hit the golf ball before it gets to the wood board. Then hit the white plate and then the stop plate, which also rotates. Clock...
  10. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Tough 3 stages on Mother's day rimfires competition. These courses were set up in honor of a fallen member of our club that loved a challenge. My victory was good enough for 2nd place. This was tough! Stage 1: Hit the 4 green lower targets left to right and make them stay in the up position...

He should have pointed off in the distance and said, "hey look, there's Trump" and then snatched it and ran!
  12. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

FINALLY! I got my trigger working after MUCH discussion and analysis with Eric at TandemKross. OMG, what a helpful and professional guy he is, and the Company is certainly a reflection of his diligence and concern. I could go on for 5 days (which is how long it took me to finally get this...
  13. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

I received an email from them today (SUNDAY) with a promise of a quick follow-up and suggestions to remedy my issues. So far, I'm impressed by just hearing from them so quickly! Stay tuned...!
  14. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Mine is the 1st edition release with standard barrel. I wrote them a note and will look forward to their reply. Thanks for the response.
  15. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Tried to install mine today and it won't work in my gun for some reason. The trigger is so tight against the frame at the top it can't rotate on the trigger pin. After about ten tries, I've given up and put the factory trigger back in the gun. I wrote them a little love letter and will wait...
  16. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

I have a buddy who is a competition shooter and he's freaky GOOD! He can knock 5 bowling pins off of a table in under 2 seconds; that's how good he is. He uses these C-More rail sights on all of his guns from his Mark II's and revolvers, up to and including his .45 1911's. He told me he will...
  17. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

The 6 would, at first thought, be the best choice. But if you consider the size of your target you might want to go smaller. I have the smallest one mainly because I shoot steel plates and bowling pins and the larger dot obscures too much of the target for me. The C-More dot is very very crisp...
  18. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

The sight picture on the C-More is about twice the area of a FFII, which is why I like it. In pins and plates, we start from a table rest, so bringing the gun up and acquiring the first target is virtually instantaneous with the C-More. It's beyond easy to find the target and the dot with both...
  19. Review: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Gun

Thanks for the range report. Great information for sure. I'd like to know what actual ammo you tried in each, if you can remember. I splurged for the C-MORE RTS2R sight and I'm so glad I did. If I could afford it, I'd put that sight on EVERY one of my .22 competition guns. It's just amazing.
