SPARC - "scalable processor architecture" is a RISC instruction set architecture (ISA) developed by Sun Microsystems and introduced in mid-1987.
SPARC II (Ultra SPARC II), code-named "Blackbird", is a microprocessor implementation of the SPARC V9 instruction set architecture (ISA) also developed by Sun Microsystems.
