Was working on phones in the food prep area of a KFC one day, saw worker slip on the greasy-a floor and spill a whole tray of chicken on said floor.
He just picked it up and put it in the serving area.
I went to the manager and told him, he just shrugged.
Sure it's the same everywhere, but no KFC for me since.

I still maintain that this is not a thing. I've been in some socioeconomically depressed areas in my life...and I have never once heard anyone ask for or even mention "courtesy fries." Except here on ODT.

Courtesy fries is a real thing and been around longer than you've been alive. In Highland Park Illinois, aka Hebrew Hills, in the 70's the Jews would expect courtesy fries with a hotdog. Oh the bitching and moaning if the poor smuck behind the counter didn't give them any. I can still hear the yentas whining nasal voices berating us. When you did give them courtesy fries the common response was "Is that all. Sammy gives us twice as much."

It used to be even worse. Was shocked to see money going into commercial development on that part of town. I wouldn’t get off at the Lem Turner Road exit (again) unless I was driving a tank.
