1944 Walther P38

bought this about a year ago from legacy collectibles...so I paid market price but I don't see how these can do nothing but grow exponentially in value over time. All numbers matching, original finish, not a Russian capture, not force-matched....as original as the day it came off the assembly line in 1944.

Has a plum finish that has faded in spots. The P38 gurus tell me that plum finishes are desired but were a lesser finish and is common for them to be splotchy....nobody really knows why the Germans decided to some of the P38s this way.
