Trying to determine value of this 1952 Browning A5.

Without actually seeing it in person, the pics look like the metal has been refinished.

Looks like the stock is cracked? Big detractor if it is. The vent barrel would sell on Ebay for about what the whole gun would bring. $400-600 would be top end in my opinion. Very few new collectors entering the market for grand pa old shotguns.
