Looking for a .204 Ruger in bolt action. Open to various models. Let me know what you have. Have cash but also have other stuff I could trade too. Located in Marietta, work in Atlanta and hunt in Glascock, so flexible on some meeting places.

Thank you.

Just found another .204 for myself last night. It is a Mossberg MVP Varmint with a vortex 4-12 Crossfire II and bi-pods on it. Second Mossberg Varmint MVP I have, I also have a .223 shoots 1/2" MOA all day with 55 grain v-max. Heard the Mossberg loves the Nosler 32 Grain Varmigeddon. Looking for brass and bullets currently. If you find a good source, let me know Please. By the way, Had a .204 CZ bull barrel before. It was a great gun also. Regretted selling it and tried to by it back but not successful. Good luck!

That’s a really really great budget varmint rifle

I had made up 10 different loads and just Monday got the opportunity to try them out. 5 rounds each load in a 10 target 100 yard test. Best group I got was .53" with 4 rounds. The 5th round of that load was a bit outside the group which expanded it to 1.01" for the 5 rounds. I am 73 and not the shot I used to be, eyesight and all. Love that scope! That best group was the 8th of ten 5 round groups and after shooting over 50 rounds, I may have been getting a little less patient with my sighting so overall, it is "Prairie Dog Accurate" enough for me.

After I got the rifle, I changed out the mag well and trigger guard with metal ones. Using the factory plastic magazine or AR15 mags, everything is tight and secure.
