Thought I'd let ya'll know if you didn't already know.. '72 is about 16 years older than me.. But then again, I've shot several thousand primers that have been 25 years old without an issue. Happy & Safe reloading to ya!

Removed from 50 year old ammunition. I am sure they will all go bang or poof.
If you have ever seen someone trying to figure out why the slide will not cycle on a pistol after they fired a hot round behind a squib, go ahead and buy them.
Let us know how much a new barrel and slide cost.

this would be a good deal if the price was lower than the normal primer prices of yesteryear,,, like $15.00 for 1k. but at this price and the problems you can run into using these it is not worth the problems. they would be good for a single shot pistol or for a rifle if you single load. but the price is too high.

I'll switch to paintball or airsoft before I'd resort to being price gouged for 48 year old primers

48 year old primers would be fine with me. The problem I have is that they were removed from primed cartridges. I wouldn’t pay anything for primers that were removed from primed cartridges that were a week old.
