Yeah and like I expected a little of the reddish Minwax was absorbed into the wood grain giving it more color after I sanded that thick runny **** off. I dig light blond wood sticks and the satin clear brings it out very well. I caught one run near the bottom of the foregrip that's hard to see unless you're right up on it. That's the kinda **** that used to make me crazy and I'd wind up doing over yet again. But I guess with age comes more realistic expectations. Or maybe it's more accurate to call it
"Don't give a **** anymore."
