For range ammo, GA Arms has 165gr or 180gr $14/50...pretty good deal. I believe they ship for free if the order is large enough, and if not, they have a booth at every Eastman Gun Show.

And I'll agree w/Dwayne...I too was anti .40 after owning a Springfield XD (not saying it's a "bad" gun, just not for me), but the G23 and the G27 are fantastic - I alternate between the two as my EDC's. My G23 has a EXO slide/barrel and the G27 will soon match, both are GEN 4.
I use a 40. For my primary edc. Every time I went to buy 9mm I could never find it. .40 is always plentiful. So,why not. I don't buy into the hype about the .40 being too snappy this, and too much recoil that. It all comes down to training.
