Academy Sports Great Deals Till January 15

Make sure you set aside an hour or so if you actually buy a gun from academy. Worst experience ever.
Bass Pro/Cabelas is much worse !!!!
I bought a rifle from Academy ---yeah it takes a little while, but isn't that true at all the big box stores? I saved a ton of money.
P.S. The biggest problem with all of those big box sporting good stores they won't let you take the trigger lock off of a gun and try the trigger, not even once, before you buy it. For a precision rifle that's a dealbreaker.
Speaking of triggers watch out for the Taurus poly protector because if I remember right I fondled one of those at a local gun shop and the DA trigger pull was somewhere between 16 .....and ...40 pounds!!

I wish they'd have the 10% off credit card deal for more than one weekend. Missed the last one.
So,,is Academy a decent place to buy guns/ammo and such ? There is one being built in Albany..I made a trip to Valdosta to that one for the " 2 box limit " ammo a few years back, not a bad experience..
