Advice for economical wood grips for S&W 686 ?

Economical, and comfortable can be at the opposite of the spectrum... what works for me, a left handed guy with big palms and skinny short fingers might not be the same for the guy with ham hocks and kielbasa digits...
I tend to buy a lot of grips, some I modify some just don't work for me and they get passed on... a lotvright here on ODT.
THEN there is the make them to what fits me...
Off the shelf I kind of prefer PACHMAYR Wood ones...

As a fellow lefty, I agree with all the above.

If you value the piece you need to put authentic S&W grips on it.

For me, Altamont are the best looking and best feeling grips.
Maybe you could find a nice pair of used ones 👍

Thanks to all for the comments and advice, but I popped on a nice looking set from an ebay vendor in Thailand (I swear I think I got a set from this guy several years ago, but can't recall). The guy gets stellar reviews for quality and fit, and I didn't think I'd do better for only $33 plus shipping. Check 'em out......
