Looking to add some spice to my flocks ones is a 19 gen 3 the other being a 43 but don’t what brand to go with not too familiar to the pistol side of thing so was wanting to know what you guys use! Looking for reputable brands but not looking for competitive shooting traits either. My firearms are used for the intended purpose! Thanks in advance! Pics for also go a long way for me I like to see what’s being discussed!

Since you state that you are using your Glocks for their intended purpose, then I do not recommend putting aftermarket parts in them. One of the side effects of whatever you are going to do is to decrease the reliability.

I've been tinkering with Glocks for 30 years, and I've found that no one beats Glock at what Glock does; make Glocks and Glock parts/magazines.

Anything you buy will cost more than the Glock part it is replacing, and reduce reliability. Instead of trying to buy your way into enhanced capability, take the money you plan on wasting on Glock downgrades, and put it towards ammo and range time. Find an Instructor that knows what they're doing, and have them work with you.

I've been running my training school for almost 30 years now. The most reliable handguns that I see in my courses are stock, or nearly stock, Glocks.

The most unreliable handguns that I see in my courses are Glocks that have been modified. I'd take a stock XD over some dude's Glock with a bunch of Apex/ZEV/Zaffiri/Timney/etc. crap in it.

There’s probably 2 people I’d buy a tricked out Glock from… cmshoot cmshoot and 9BarSolutions 9BarSolutions . At least I’d know reliability was the priority.

They’d both probably talk me out of it though… leaving all my money in my pockets. Not all gunsmiths are good or ethical. 🤣

I swear I talk more folks outta stuff than I talk 'em into.
