So watchtower 2011 are like supposed to be 5k+?

But are filing for bankrupt and supposedly the guns/most the parts in their guns are made by alpha foxtrot!

Sorry if the is the wrong place to post discussions never did one before.

So everyone’s sleeping on the 1k$ Romulus alpha foxtrot supplies most internals for most 1911 company and has been for years

I know for a fact that AF is an OEM manufacturer for a lot of different companies, but I do not know if Watchtower is one of those.

They are lol

I believe you, I'm just saying I don't personally know, or can't confirm.

A guy I was in the Air Marshals with for several years worked for AF for a while, after he retired from the FAMS. We had a conversation where he was listing several companies that they made parts for. It's quite possible that he mentioned Watchtower Firearms during that conversation, and that I just don't remember it. It's possible that he didn't mention it.. It's possible that we had the conversation before they were making parts for Watchtower.

He hasn't worked for AF for at least a year now.

There’s a video out on YouTube talking a lil on them going bankrupt and the dude talks about the internals are from AF and maybe even more but doesn’t know

Pretty much saying that they are getting cheaper parts and selling high end guns yet they are bankrupt by millions
They owe Af that

Well, the OEM business isn't strange or deceitful.

If you're building a pistol where the justification for the high price is the workmanship AND the quality of the parts AND the competency of the gunsmith who creates it, it makes sense to go out and find the fabricator who makes the highest quality parts, take them, apply your workmanship (whether it's the fine-tuning of key parts like the sear, the detail and consistency applied in the assembly, the finish of the frame and slide - or whatever) and put a value on that work and then attempt to sell the result to the consumer.

It's my understanding that AF make good quality components. Nobody complains when they go out to buy a pre-built AR15 and the manufacturer saw fit to put a Krieger barrel on it.

It looks to me like Watchtower's primary problem was believing there was a far higher demand for their product at that price point than there actually was.
