I hinted to my brother that I was going to start reading up about reloading and he offered up his second press to get started with (worked like a charm). I setup the RCBS RS and started collecting tools, gear, and supplies and loaded my first test batches of .44 mag last night. Some of which I had to pull apart and do over but I tend to retain things better when learning them the hard way. Long story short, I am hooked!

I was going to type more, but the 2 yr old princess decided to see what the "submit" button does on the iPad screen.
I have read good and bad about the RCBS customer service and decided to give them a call yesterday to talk about the parts that I saw in the online parts list that were not included with the gear I scored. After rattling off a list of parts and listening to them tell me about the press, I was expecting to have to apply more Christmas money to this new hobby but was pleased when they said "no charge" for all the stuff I got.
Anyway, thanks to a lot of info from ODT, I have a new hobby!

Welcome, rolling your own only adds to the fun of the shooting sports.
RCBS is great for stupid mistakes. I have a friend that has gotten more de-priming pins than should ever be allowed for free.
