What new tech would ya want ?

It’s easy to add a Bluetooth to the radio in most cars

So you can use your phone for
Music and podcasts and audiobooks

I’ve added that to all our older cars .

It’s different for every car but was doable .

The new F-150s won’t crank if the tail lights get wet

And it costs $6k for
Two new taillights and the programming

Yeah

The tail lights have computers in them that have to be programmed to fit your truck .

Really sad

I’d be very cautious about buying anything newer than about 2015

Just has too much computer junk



And no way I’d get anything made after 2020

Yep. I was pondering this very subject recently. I decided pre 2007. And really should consider 1981. Sure it'd be expensive to buy a nice fully restored vintage vehicle. But it's also expensive to buy a new piece of crap you have to fix regularly too. And the old vehicle probably won't depreciate

And it’s EMP proof.

Ridgeline still has a NA V-6 engine with 285 ponies.Nissan is the only other midsize with an NA V6 engine all other are turbo 4s.

The reason I bought my Titan. I don’t want no turbocharged 6 cylinder.

There's none I want. I don't listen to the radio when I drive. I enjoy the relative quiet. She loves all that back up cam, lane assist , etc. bs but it is just unnecessary to me. The 97 is my new truck. I've got a 66 GTO but heck I can't park it anywhere out of sight or it'll get stolen.

The womens always want new. Thing is, new now isn't what they used to be. My Wife used to say, why don't buy a new truck. I'd say, I haven't tried to trade you in on a new model.......🤣
