Want one myself brother and for the same reason. These things are rarer than hen's teeth and cost a fortune when ya find 'em. The old blacksmith forges are just about as hard to find. Good luck to you in your quest!

What's the going price ? Are they by the pound or how in the heck would you price them?
The anvils in those stores are really poorly constructed. Under heavy use, they fracture and break. You can hit an anvil with a hammer, if it rings, then it's constructed well, if you heard a "thud" when you strike it, it is full tiny air pockets that will cause it to fail at a later date.
