$1600 ROLAND TR-909 The Beast. This is my favorite piece of gear. It has served me well over the last 16 years, but I don’t use it enough to justify owning it. Time to move on to a new home. I bought it in 1994 from a guy who thought he could use it to write folk songs… yeah.
