Any sheath makers out there?

I'm in need of a new sheath and don't know of anyone who makes them. I prefer leather because it is quiet, but am not totally opposed to kydex. The knife is a 3/4 sized Ka-Bar USMC fighting knife with the 5 1/4" blade. The one that came with it is too flimsy, I'd like one that is a bit more sturdy. I prefer that the belt loop be near the hand guard, so that it rides a bit higher on my belt. Also good retention is a must.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Would prefer someone local (Rome area) but am willing to mail it off if needed.

Yes, I have one of Ryan's holsters. It is top quality but I wasn't sure of his wait time on a knife sheath. It was four months on my holster and I was wanting it a little quicker.

I did find a maker who made one using only my measurements, they had it to me in three days from Mississippi.
