I don't want this to be a rant but is anybody else making trade offers by PM and getting ignored?

Last three I sent out no response. And I'm not offering a Jennings for a Glock. These are not brand new members. Anybody else?

ive been ignored on offers many times lol. at least when i post stuff, if i get a PM from anyone i will respond with a "no thanks" at the very minimum.

Really. Even if it's a ridiculous offer it's just polite.

i have been ignored a few times but i dont think it is ever intentional

if someone shoots me a PM i always respond as soon as possible

Just the luck of the draw, I doubt if it's intentional, maybe some get on here while on break at work, and totally forget about the offer later

I'm sure I have been but I think a lot of it is a lot of guys don't spend as much time on here as I do. Some folks don't even get on everyday, as hard to believe as that is. Lol.

I sent a guy a trade offer yesterday afternoon by pm and when I went to his profile page he was viewing an ad for the gun I offered in trade. Lol.

And I haven't heard back.

Not recently, but in the past. I pestered the guy until he finally replied, "If someone ignores your trade offer that means you're not making a good offer!"

That's funny, because I thought REPLYING, "You're not making a good offer means you're not making a good offer"

I've had one guy ignore two cash offers (and I was offering his asking price) on two different occasions. I wonder if it's because I'm still "new."

I reply to all messages regardless.
It does become bothersome when someone doesn't reply to a message say within 24hrs. But it is to be expected because like another poster said, sometimes people just forget or get tied up with other things etc, etc.

On the other hand, if it goes say 72 hours without a reply and they are noobs, you can always send them one word messages until their inbox is full, lol
