Anybody gone to the Sawmill?

I stay up on lake Hartwell a good bit of the time now. Ran across an advertisement for The sawmill. It's a range up in South Carolina that does a good bit of training looks to be a nice place. Just thought I'd check to see if any of you have been up there.

Before it was The Sawmill, it was called SCOTG. I used their long distance range to teach some courses. It was a nice facility, and it looks like they’ve made improvements since then.

I haven't been there in a year but they had made some significant upgrades from the SCOTG says as I was there at the same time as cmshoot

It’s a nice place

If you stay there you either have to pay big money to have the room to yourself or you can stay at normal nice hotels about 20 minutes away

Nice facility though, good people that work there and good classes that come through

Thanks for the info about staying onsite. I've only been there for single day events and didn't know it was that expensive.

It’s 4 to a room.

Split 4 ways, it’s very inexpensive.

If you want the room to yourself, you have to pay for all 4 spots.
