I am looking to get back into some type of unarmed hand to hand combat open to ideas. Please contact me of you take or teach some type of martial art. Thank you

I still do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the family. I started 20 years ago stopped for a while and have been doing it almost 5 years this go round. Lots of fun if you can handle people in your personal space.

Yeah I was very into wrestling when I was younger and I have tried small amounts of bjj and various self defense courses at work. I am just looking for something reality based not some of the crap I have seen from various instructors.

A guy at my work does something that I can't pronounce, I normally just call it Jon-quan-doe because his name is Jon. He also does stick fighting, I'm sure he wouldn't mind me sharing his contact info. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

i saw palmettomoon palmettomoon out in his yard practicing his kung fu. but when i stopped to ask him about it,it turned out there was a bee flying around him...

Bwahahaha !! :pound:

Kind of like : I know Kung Fu - (he is a pretty nice guy too)

The bee thing is almost as effective a training technique as walking into a spider web with your face. Almost.

I would look at training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Those two are the most reality based fighting styles because they are used for self defense as well as inflicting the most damage. Most other martial arts are based on point scoring in a tournament or competition setting. I’ve been training since 2009
