i need some help figuring out what’s up with a pistol I have. 10.75 .223 Wylde barrel carbine bootleg gas and bootleg upper with the pic of rail and spikes lower with flat cmc trigger bolt and group are MP. Not sure on the buffer weight or spring. 8-10rnds our of a 30rd mag it stove pipes. Or it will stove pipe with a hot round halfway in chamber. Drop the mag clear it and fire. Then it happens again. Any help is good and appreciated. Next time I shoot I’ll get pics. Also it ran good. I hit hit a few quick bust about 10 rnds in then that’s when the issues started if that helps.

Check your ejector.

If it was under gassed I don’t know if it would be locking back on that empty mag like you say.

Check your gas block alignment yet again ensure it’s over the port

I guess it could be overgassed as well and kicking spent casings into the deflector so hard they’re bouncing back in?

Do you have access to H2 or H3 buffer?

Make sure the gas key is tight and staked. Had a similar issue and ended up changing out springs, buffers and it turned out to be the gas key...

Look at going with a JP Enterprises buffer and spring. I had a similar issue several years back and with the swap of parts, my issue was quickly remedied.

New to checking on the gas system on them but I went and tightened the gas block screws much as I could. One wouldn’t budge and the other barely moved. Ran lancer mags some other mag can’t remember brand and I haven’t tried my p mag yet but I am tomorrow cause they’re different ammo. Gas system info is helpful too

Previous owner said he had zero malfunctions and he’s a reputable member here. All I did different was swap the a2 break out for the KVP comp.
