Are you all supporting the NRA?

Seems to be some differing opinions on here lately regarding the NRA. As you can see in my signature line, I'm a member of a few orgs, but not the NRA. The recent fraudulent use of funds is a bit off-putting. Thought I would start a discussion as to whether or not they are actually fighting for our 2A rights. Opinions are okay. But conclusions supported by why are appreciated.

NRA in my opinion are turncoats and they side with gun control politicians, I don't support those crooks and Wayne LaPierre is scum, they say they fight for your rights but the only thing they do is ask for money and make their pockets full and when the moment comes to defend your rights they are blind, deaf and mute

NRA is completely broken these days, but there's enough going on we can hope for a fix.

I'm a member and don't plan on cancelling that, but I haven't given them a dime since all the dirt started coming out.

If they clean up their act and get rid of Wayne and his cronies I would support them again in an instant though. We desperately need a group that can function effectively on Capitol Hill, and the NRA is the only one that has shown they can.

In the meantime any donations go to Second Amendment Foundation and GA Carry.

They will never recover from Trump's ridiculing senators and congressmen for "being afraid" of the NRA and by their retreat from their headquarters for over 140 years. That by itself shows how toothless the org is. They can't defend themselves from attack in their home state for God's sake. I used to say I'd support them if they fired most of the BoD and LaPierre but now? The org is dead to me forever.
