??? i literally just had my house carpeted a month ago and got decent carpet with a good pad and it was 1100 for 800sqft for everything

You should be able to do it for 5-600$ supplying all matetial! The $2800 sound like supplying the carpet!

So the job is complete, looks fantastic! The labor was 550 and materials costs me 760. I'm pleased, and think I'm just gonna sell rifle out right to best offer.(above minimum price of course )
