Have an opportunity to do some bow hunting this weekend. Kicking around going but would pick up a crossbow as I haven't touched a compound in a long time. Need recs for the best crossbow below 300 (seen some on sportsmans for less than 200 that look decent) and if you think with a little backyard practice for a couple of days I could get proficient before this weekend? It would be close shots in a wooded area from a tree stand.
