Best thing to do is go with a guide on Lanier for a day. You’ll learn a lot in a short period of time and enjoy the trip.

P phantomfiber991 what specifically are you wanting to learn?

YouTube University likely has everything you want and a lot more. As do other resources online. Many fishing forums you could join. Also depending on interest in species there are clubs around you might look into joining. Such as Trout Unlimited. They hold mo they meetings, outings, etc.

As mentioned already you could also look at a guide for specific soecies or body of water. My boy offers a guide service but it has been for parent and child usually. He just turned 13 and is raising funds for a boat and college. He enjoys working with other kids helping them fish and improve techniques and targeting. A lot of moms and dads have learned from him as well.
