Best way to ship a sear pack?

I flew to LaGuardia in December of 94 with a Grendel 380 and extra loaded mag. I had to get a metal lock box for it and check in early so they could confirm I packed it right AND hanf a big red tag on the suitcase before putting it in checked through baggage. In Atlanta nobody thought anything about it. But in NYC when the baggage claim people saw that tag they acted like there was human organs in it. Nobody wanted to touch it. I still remember the guy asking "Are you a cop? " When I told him I wasn't he just said
"Nevermind I don't wanna know nothing else. "
Point here is that the red tag on the suitcase is a flashing "Steal Me" sign.

Every year I fly to Montana. Big hard case with a pricey rifle, suppressor, 2 handguns, and ammo in it. Good thing is, the case is large and heavy enough, with 4 steel padlocks, that it wouldn’t be easy to steal.
