I'm here to share my experiences building AKs. (Rant)
First, I would like to say thank you for the people who taught me. You know who you are.
Building AKs is never easy. There's always a snag, something else, an extra step, problem to arise, additional cost, and 1,000s of an inch can ruin your whole day or build.
I'm in the double digits of AK building. Not one has ever gone smoothly. It could be something as little as a pin that has to be drilled out instead of punched out, or Non-Uniformity of across the same countries of origin, etc.
If you hate money, have the time, and are looking for a challenge. AK building is for you. If you can't answer yes to the three above, Don't start.
