Can you replace solid lifters with hydraulic lifters?

It's just a weekend hotrod. Wish list is either go hydroboost or electric vac pump at some point.

I have an electric on my Monte Carlo. Been on there for years now, no troubles. From Summit Racing. I've ran it with and without. Brakes work fine either way. Granted you have to have a strong leg without
