Dad had a Chevy Belair I was the youngest of 5 so I rode behind the back seat laying on the back under the back window. We rode in the back of his 50 Chevy truck a lot too. There was a lot less traffic back in those days.

Remember riding to the Smokies in an almost new 1968 Ford P/U. Wood frame aluminum Camper shell. 4 Grankids taking turns in 2 web-alumimum chairs. Grandparents in the cab; from Alpharetta , Ga. Circa 1969
I didn’t know that kids could ride in the cab of a truck. When my dad put a shell camper on truck, us youngins that we were poopin in tall cotton.
