My wife and I finally got out on the water after a winter of renovating our boat's flooring and interior, getting surge brakes repaired, and avoiding polar vortexes. We went to visit Buddy at Bart's Bait and Tackle, then pulled trout around all day with just 3 bites, this hybrid being the only fish to actually hook up. Planers and freeline went unmolested. Those 3 bites were downlined trout.
This one went 9 pounds on Boga scales. It's been a while since I've tangled with a hybrid. I almost forgot how scrappy they were. They just don't know when to stop fighthing!
