What is a good lube with minimal smoke to use in a lubricator sizer?

LBT blue soft is a good one,


also carnauba red from lsstuff.com..

he also has the 45-45-10 drip lube mix that works very well.

Thanks, I will try the LBT Soft BLUE.

Carnauba Red is about as good as it gets if you want to push lead bullets fast. But you need a lube press heater to use it.

Thanks. I will keep the Carnauba Red in mind. I shoot low velocity loads. I talked to Veral Smith of LBT and I'm trying his LBT Soft Blue.

Yep. It's a bit messy, but works fine for modest pressures and velocities.

try the 45 +45 +10% mix...


45/45/10 mixture of Johnson's Paste Wax (JPW), Lee Liquid Alox (LLA) and odorless mineral spirits (MS).


You can mix this yourself or find it already done up.. Lee Alox works well by itself but tend not to be all that accurate.

the above mix is thinner and is very easy to tumble and apply to bullets
