went to cabela's yesterday they had

Herter's steel case berdan primed .308 ammo on sale from 17.99 marked 10.99
So i picked up 3 boxes along with other stuff. happened to look at the receipt going down 75. it rang up for
$6.88
needless to say i turned around and ran and got 7 more boxes idc if it is steel cased its for my new long range bole gun

They also had 20 round boxes of 55gr .223 for $6.49 and

62gr $6.99 i don't quite remember the brand name on it though

they also had a good sale going on 2 Nikon Buckmaster scopes a $230 one for $130 with BDC
and a 3-9x40 BDC nikon buckmaster BDC from $320 for $149

That's a good price for target ammo if you are close. I've been getting ZQ1 brass cased 308 at Wally World for $9.97 Cabelas is a long way from me and I would have to buy a case just to pay for gas and break even.

Same here. The ZQI or ZQ1 shoots fine out of my LR308.
