My lovely wife made a big pot of Brunswick Stew, a platter of corn fritters and a pumpkin chocolate mousse cake.

Made this pic while she was still cooking so the platter wasn’t full of fritters yet.
The cake has a base layer of chocolate cake, a layer of cinnamon mousse, a layer of butterscotch mousse and a layer of salted caramel mousse with chocolate ganache on top..

Cake looks really good.

We just put a 6 pound Prime Rib Roast in the oven, 500 degrees for 5 min a pound, turn off oven then with oven door closed and locked let set for two hours. Best you ever had.

I have a 12 1/2 lb rib roast coming to room temperature. I'll start it on the pellet grill around 3. My sister is making a broccoli cheese casserole and some homemade yeast rolls. I'm going to do some Au gratin potatoes and some fresh green beans. Should be a great feast this evening.
