Question, if you fire a 3'' shot shell out of a 3'' chamber in a revolver ,would the expansion from the shell keep the chamber from cycling to the next round or is there adequate clearance of the chamber? in the case of the circuit judge. anyone tried this?

There should be enough clearance. The chamber should measure 3 & 1/16
