They are only worth what folks are paying
I dont see people selling the sks they have listed for 300+
I see for sale ads, but nothing being moved
I doubt many folks are paying more tham 150 for a mosin
And two years ago, no one would pay more than $100. They'll never be rare, but they won't get any cheaper with time either. I don't think it's really the mosins that are going up in price, it could be the dollar losing value.
It would be interesting to set up a chart, correlating inflation/exchange rate versus the cost of milsurp rifles. Then maybe we could see where the bubbles are occurring in the milsurp rifles market and know when to buy and sell. You could track the relative cost between the mosin and sks and see the bubble growing and popping for the sks over the past couple years.
