Colt Government .380 Magazine Question

I search every gun show for magazines for my Colt Government .380... I found a site that has them on sale for $19.95 each... but it also says that the government and the mustang 2 magazines are the same. Any knowledge on if this will cause problems? or will it work perfectly? Thanks

May work, but not fit flush. The Government 380, if I remember right, has the longer grip with a 7 round capacity. The newer Mustangs has a 6 round magazine. You may want to look into this further.

Pretty sue that you can find them at CDNN.
Metal form makes magazines for the Government and Mustang I do believe, actually metal form made the colt mags for them.
I believe that the mustang/ sig 238/ Kimber micro will be to short to lock up in the government model.

Agreed, the Mustang II is the same frame as the Government 380, and has a 7 round magazine. The Mustang has a 6 round magazine. Not sure what the OP has specifically.
