Want to Buy  colt SAA

That's a very open question. You have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and some including me say 4th generation guns. Most are in 45LC. Then you have 2 1/2" - 12" and longer barreled pistols. The sky is almost the limit as to what you can spend. What is your pleasure?

I left it open for a reason. Just wanted to see what people had to offer without excluding offers. But ideal for me 5-6 inch barrel 3rd gen or newer only bc I wouldn’t be able to afford older then 3gen. Nickel preferred but blued is fine also.

Sounds good. The new pistols are nice as well. The 5 1/2" barrel is the best all around length. Gunbroker or Gunsinternational are two good sources.

I know this is an older post but wth, I’m molder too. I’m pretty sure I just bought a SAA Frontier that shipped in 1898. I’m searching for a good resource that can tell me where it shipped to. The Colt Historian can take up to 5 months. Any guidance is appreciated. <salute emoji> <American Flag emoji>

That Colt letter would be the best thing you could have. It'll be worth every penny you spend on it

The only way to tell where that gun originally shipped to is to get the Colt letter. It will also give you a lot of additional information.
