I have owned 4 Scars. One of each color and caliber. Mine are Belgium made and very accurate and easy to shoot. Still own the two - 16 & 17 FDE. Both have Trijicon glass - no issues -just mount the glass ina good mount - I use American Defense Mounts. About all you need is some Parker Mountain Machine (or similar) upgrades such as Magpul Scar safeties, replacement side rails to slim the front and maybe a Geissele trigger. You can find mags for $35 if you shop around. And remember - FN uses red locktite usually so you need heat (I use a soldering iron) to remove bolts.
