Smith Enterprise built the rifle for me late in 2010, and showed it to the world for the first time in 2011 during SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The 16.25" barrel has 4 grooves, a 1:10 ROT, and it's chambered for M118 LR. I have used it in several different stocks including a SAGE EBR, and the light weight Blackfeather "RS" that I import from Canada.
I recently picked up one of those E2 stocks that Treeline is selling. It's a Birch E2 that was made in 1969, but never issued. It had the Iodine based protective coating, but it was otherwise dry, and unfinished. I sanded it smooth, and applied one coat of Tung oil - this it the result.
The hand guard is a Blackfeather SHG, the optic is an Aimpoint Comp M4, and the recoil pad is available from Treeline. It shoots great, and I really like the pistol grip - especially with the M14 EBR trigger shoe installed.
